Ladies' Afternoon Tea

Ladies, join us for an afternoon of tea and scrumptious treats followed by a fascinating presentation from historian Alice Miller as she presents The Styles and Stories of our Famous First Ladies.
Hear the stories and see the fashions of some of our famous first ladies. Learn about the colors and fashions they loved to wear and even the fashions they weren’t allowed to wear! Their tales might amuse and surprise you. Funny family stories? Favorite flowers? Historical clothing collector, Alice Miller, will share these delightful stories with us.
We hope you can join us for this afternoon of tea, laughter and fellowship!

We will also have an opportunity for a few ladies to attend for free and get behind the scenes with us! We require a crew of amazing helpers for food prep and cleanup the day of the event. When registering, please select Kitchen Angel from the ticket options. We couldn't do this without you!

Hosting a Table
Hosting a table (60" round for 6) requires table place settings (plates, tea cups, napkins) for six, centerpiece and decor. Examples of optional items to bring are water glasses, silverware, tablecloths, or tea pots.
If requested, the church can provide water glasses, silverware and black, white or sage green tablecloths. You can request these items by emailing trista@maplevalleychurch.org.
There will be a prize for the table that receives the most votes!
Nine tables are available to host and as the hostess you will have the option to reserve seating for up to 5 invited registered guests. After you set your table on the day of the event, you will place the provided place name cards at your table.
Table set up will begin at 12 pm must be completed by 12:40 pm, and a reminder email will be sent closer to the event.
