We had so much fun with you all at @ Seattle Escape Games! A big congrats to Team Morgue and Team Bank Job for getting out just in time. As for everyone else (including myself), it was never about winning right? 😅 Here is what is coming up:
"From dust you came and to dust you shall return." Many of you may be wondering what is up with this season called Lent: A time when people mark their foreheads with ashes, practice fasting, and fast food chains start pushing fish sandwiches.

But behind the oddity of it all is a truth that is both remarkable and worthy of celebration: that though we often choose what is destructive to us, God does not relent in pursuing us, forgiving us, and inviting us to choose a different and better way.

This week we are talking about how what matters during Lent isn't just what we need to "fast" and let go of, but also what God is calling us to take hold of and live into.

This Wednesday we will be participating in prayer stations. Each has been designed by the youth staff with the intention of introducing students to various spiritual practices throughout Christian history, but in a way that is tangible, accessible, and engaging.

We also encourage students to download the Rise app prior to Wednesday! The instructions will be on the app that afternoon, but also on paper for those who cannot access it by phone.
