Good Morning MVC - June 25th

by Pastor Pete on June 25, 2020
Good Morning MVC!

Pastor Pete here, subbing for Kami who is enjoying a well deserved day off. I have a few announcements to share.
  • Prayer & Praise tonight at 7pm on Facebook, YouTube and our website. Now more than ever, as our nation faces such difficult trials, we need to seek the LORD and cry out for His mercy and help. Please tell a friend to join us online, and send in prayer requests through the Facebook page. If you are watching on YouTube, please subscribe to our page so that you can be notified of new videos.
  •
  • Indoor Worship starting July 12. Our Father's Day outdoor services were fantastic, and we intend to do it again outdoors in the parking lot once or twice more this summer. We are focusing attention on preparing to open our doors for worship in the sanctuary on Sundays (as well as the possibility of streaming the service upstairs to the Chapel). We will send out registration information after the 4th of July. If you register for a service, be it indoors our outside, but are unable to attend, please give us 48 hours notice so that people on the wait list can take your spot.
  •
  • This Sunday we begin our new summer series in the final chapters of Hebrews titled "Jesus is Better". In the final section of this letter to the church, the author provides practical guidance for Christian living. Please read Hebrews 11-13 in your quiet time devotions to prepare.
  •
  • Conversation about Race and Justice. I am hosting another conversation next Thursday, July 2, with three Christian friends, including our own Joe Phenisee. If you have missed the first three, which run a little over an hour each, I encourage you to check them out on our YouTube channel.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9
